Xtob's football game is based on a coach's view of football. Instead of running the plays as you do in traditional football video games, playing the quarterback or defensive player, you choose offenses and defenses based on situations. The better your offense or defense matches up against your opponent, the higher the probability of success for the play. The football game then executes the offense and defense against each other and bases the result on how the two stack up against each other. After the play completes, it returns the result of the play to you.

Playing Against the Computer

An Artificial Intelligence program was created to play xtob's football game. It attempts to choose the "best" offense or defense based on the situation, time, and score. It's choices are also randomized so its play-calling is not predictable.

Game Highlights

Xtob's football game allows you to choose from approximately 12-15 offensive and defensive plays each play. The game also includes penalties, special teams, fumbles, interceptions, and everything else you would expect from a game of football.
